Do 60 Give 60 Campaign
One of the hat colors and styles being donated. |
I recently chose to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign "Do 60 Give 60" campaign. I am donating 30 hats costing a total of a little over $60 to "Huntsman Cancer Institute" in Salt Lake City, Utah tomorrow. I am also offering 60 prayers for healing. The campaign is about doing 60 of something and giving 60 of something to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the CFC in 2021. I learned that the hospital is very low on availability of hats for patients. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to help up to 30 people. I was granted permission from the hospital to donate these during the pandemic because they are new and sealed individually in plastic. It is rare to find a hospital that will take in kind donations during a pandemic. I am also excited because these hats are beautiful and nice quality, and I purchased these for a reasonable price with discounts added at checkout. I do this with my own money. I am not wealthy by any standards. I am finally working full-time after over 10 years of college and finally able to help more people. I get a natural high from making a difference in the world, so I like to keep my name private for personal reasons. I welcome copy cats or donations of new hats, but not money. I have not completed the 501C process due to cost, time and effort. Hopefully I will find a partner or board of directors to help me further this mission in the future.

Winter is almost here
With winter almost here, we recognize the need for winter hats. If you need a new hat or have some new hats you would like to donate, I will get one to you and/or make a trip to Primary Children's Medical Center to deliver them when I get a few. Thank you for stopping by. Contact me through my personal email which is shawillow@hotmail.com. Thanks

Our Mission
We donate hats for people experiencing hair loss due to medical treatments and health issues. All materials and labor are donated to patients in oncology at local hospitals.
If you know someone who could benefit from a hat please let us know by clicking on the area for requests.
We also occasionally make hats or bonnets for newborn babies in Newborn Intensive Care Units.
